Proceeding Towards the Establishment of a National Strategy for Advancing CGP in Metastatic Cancer Care: Aligning Patient, Clinical, and Policy Perspectives

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network (CCRAN), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our 4th Annual Pan-Tumour Biomarkers Conference!

We gather at a pivotal moment for cancer care in Canada. Building on the strong foundation established through previous Conferences, this year's program reflects growing momentum toward more coordinated, system-level approaches to advancing precision oncology nationwide.

Across the two days, we will focus on how to proceed toward the establishment of a national strategy to advance comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) in metastatic cancer care in Canada. Through cross-sector dialogue, roundtables, and national conversation, we will explore system readiness, clinical integration, and the alignment of patient, clinical, and policy perspectives. Our goal is to identify areas of progress, address persistent gaps, and strengthen collaboration across jurisdictions.

As always, patient experience remains central to CCRAN’s work. The voices shared throughout this Conference remind us why timely and equitable access to precision oncology matters.

We invite you to engage in the conversations ahead and to view the welcome video to learn more about this year's vision. Thank you for joining us and for your continued commitment to improving outcomes for patients across Canada.

Warmly,

Filomena Servidio-Italiano
